We have a place
in the Friends organization for every library supporter.
If you believe in what we're doing for the Alma community,
please consider joining the Friends (applications available in
the library or mailed to you by calling the library (308)
928-2600.
- Friends are citizens who
value the service of public libraries and help promote
those services within the community.
- Friend volunteers help
with fund raising activities for special projects
through book sales, donations, etc.
- Friend volunteers give
their time to perform needed jobs in the library, such
as, book mending, scrapbook entries, story hour, genealogical
searches, etc.
- Friends sponsor special
programs and host receptions for special events.
